  Sorprendente ¡¡¡ Como un instituto de enseñanza a escasos metros de una Base Americana en Rota (Cádiz) no han sabido gestionar la adaptación de un estudiante americano en sus instalaciones.

  My daughter moved from the United States to Spain to start highschool. She had a very bad experience with a teacher Mercedes thats teaches social studies, instead of welcoming her with open arms, she would treat her as if she was inferior to the rest of the class. She often would call her out in front of the class for not being sure on how to do something instead of going to her and helping her on what she did not understand. After this incident occured in class, my wife talked to the counselor and administrator and they assured her they would do something to resolve the issue. But it kept happening, this teacher also would pull her out and tell her to move the desk to the front of the class for not understanding something to try and embarras her to the class. This school also did not have it as a priority to give her a translator even though they promised they would after her being at school for 2 weeks. We even had one of the teachers tell us that it is true this highschool is not prepared to handle transfers students from the United States. This school does not offer the support neccesary for a transfer student. Since then, we've also heard stories about the same teacher having problems with other students. This school is a complete embarassment to public education in Spain and in the European Union. Beware!!!!
